Wiatowski Group Inc. (OpenTier)

Formerly, we  (Andreas & Cynthia Wiatowski) founded Silo Wireless Inc. in 2007, offering essential rural internet access to countless households and businesses in the regions we covered.

In late 2019, Silo was acquired by Xplornet Communications, with Andreas overseeing a transition of services over a six-month span. By August 2020, Andreas assumed the role of VP of Business Development at Xplornet, actively participating in the acquisition of various fibre and wireless companies. Additionally, he played a key role in strategizing and applying for programs such as Swift, ASHIP, and UBF with remarkable success.

OpenTier marks our latest investment in community progress, introducing fibre infrastructure to underserved areas.
