In 2007 we founded Silo Wireless Inc., providing essential rural Internet broadband services to countless homes and businesses across the regions we served.

In late 2019, Silo was acquired by Xplornet Communications. Andreas Wiatowski helped lead the six-month transition of Silo Wireless to Xplore and, in August 2020, stepped into the role of VP of Business Development at Xplore. In this position, he was closely involved in acquiring several fibre and wireless companies and in shaping successful applications for programs such as SWIFT, ASHIP, and UBF.

OpenTier is our latest commitment to community progress—bringing modern fibre infrastructure to areas that have traditionally been underserved.
